Technical Business Analyst

We are supporting a Swiss-based company specialized in data protection and information management, serving clients across highly regulated and data-sensitive industries.
As part of its growth and team consolidation in Switzerland, the company is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to strengthen the link between business requirements and technical delivery within an agile, international environment.
The role is part of a multidisciplinary team of around twelve professionals, including backend and frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and project governance functions (PMO, Project Management, Business Analysis). The position aims to enhance delivery capabilities and support a culture of collaboration and structure within the local team.
Main Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and formalize business and technical requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
- Write functional and technical specifications (SRS, SDS, user stories, use cases, test cases).
- Collaborate closely with QA teams to define testing scenarios and conduct initial functional validation.
- Identify and communicate project risks and dependencies to project management.
- Facilitate workshops and ensure knowledge transfer between technical and business teams.
- Contribute to process optimization and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Provide post-implementation support: configuration, testing, and user training when required.
- Report on progress, workload, and estimation updates to management.
- Support or mentor other analysts and users as needed.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst, ideally within complex software environments (SaaS, fintech, data, cybersecurity…).
- Strong understanding of application architectures, APIs, and data exchange formats (XML, JSON).
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Fiddler, or similar.
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, accessible language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a structured and proactive approach.
- Comfortable working in agile, multicultural teams.
- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).

- Internal platforms focused on data protection, encryption, and secure exchange.
- Collaboration with development teams located in Switzerland and abroad (Europe and Middle East).
- Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
