From Rocket Trajectories to Star Mapping: Data Paving the Way to the Unknown
What if Data were the secret language enabling humanity to push back the boundaries of the unknown?
For one exceptional evening, DatAfterwork invites you on a journey from Earth to the stars, where every trajectory, every decision and every discovery relies on billions of data points invisible to the naked eye.
We will have the honor of welcoming an aerospace engineer, who will share his unique experience during the launches of Ariane 4 and Ariane 5 rockets. He will take us behind the scenes of these extraordinary missions and explain how data is used to model, adjust and secure a launcher’s trajectory, where even the slightest variation can change everything.
The evening will continue with an astrophysicist who will immerse us in sky exploration and the mapping of new stars. From detecting weak signals to analyzing massive volumes of cosmic data, he will demonstrate how Data now enables us to better understand the universe and expand our knowledge of space.
An encounter between science, technology and imagination, reminding us that Data is not only a performance tool, but also a driver of exploration, precision and wonder.
