Senior Technical Project Manager

Genève, Suisse

Our client is a fast-growing tech company based in Geneva, operating at the intersection of data management, compliance, and enterprise software. With an international client base and a highly technical product, the company works with organisations that require the highest standards of reliability, security, and delivery excellence. You will join a tight-knit expert team and work directly alongside the COO and CEO.

The role

As Senior Technical Project Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery of complex integration and infrastructure projects — acting as the critical bridge between technical teams, clients, and business stakeholders. This is a high-ownership role for someone who leads with authority, challenges solution design, and keeps complex programmes on track from kickoff to go-live.

Key responsibilities

  • Build realistic project plans and lead delivery end-to-end — on time and within budget
  • Track progress, performance, and efficiency of team members; report status to stakeholders
  • Perform risk management analysis to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
  • Collaborate with Technical Business Analysts, engineers, architects, and project stakeholders
  • Manage vendor and supplier contracts; assign tasks and communicate expected deliverables
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation — architecture docs, release notes, deployment guides, user manuals
  • Formalise and enforce operational processes for production reliability and high availability
  • Prepare and lead technical sessions; manage budget tracking, planning, and reporting
  • Challenge solution design elements and ensure technical coherence across the platform
  • Control deliverable quality — API testing (Postman), code review, log analysis
  • Write SRS documents, use cases, and test cases for new or modified applications
  • Provide post-implementation support and maintain strong long-term customer relationships

Profile & requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Business, MIS, or related field
  • 5+ years in a Technical PM or Solution Delivery role, ideally in an international or private banking environment
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices
  • Solid understanding of business cases and risk management
  • Able to write and challenge architecture docs and technical documentation
  • Extremely organised, structured, and outcome-focused
  • Team leader, supervisor, and collaborator — all at once
  • High learning agility — fast to absorb new technologies and domain knowledge
  • Strong communication and influencing skills — verbal and written
  • PMP or equivalent is a plus
  • Fluent English mandatory; French is a plus
